Resumo:
O transtorno do espectro autista é uma síndrome do neurodesenvolvimento que se caracteriza por comprometimento na comunicação social associado a um repertório restrito e repetitivo de comportamentos, interesses e atividades. Sua causa ainda é desconhecida e a evolução é muito variável. É de extrema importância estar atento aos sinais de alerta para a realização de um diagnóstico precoce e encaminhamento para reabilitação precoce e intensiva direcionada para o transtorno do comportamento e da
comunicação.
