Resumo:

Assumingthat post-lexical processes significantly affect the English spoken languagewhen in connected speech, and that this is one of the main reasons why studentsof English as an additional language find listening comprehension so difficultto cope with, this study investigated the connection between listeningcomprehension and the teaching of pronunciation using a top-down approach.
