Resumo:

Este capítulo, como o próprio título indica, visa funcionarcomo uma introdução para o iniciante no estudo da entoação da fala.A entoação é um dos aspectos que compõem a prosódia da fala,e é definida pela “combinação de características tonais em unidades estruturaismaiores associadas ao parâmetro acústico da frequência fundamental (F0) e suasvariações distintivas no processo da fala” (BOTINIS et al., 2001, p. 264).
